As a regular listener of Reasons Are Several podcast, I was excited to hear Episode 84 where Matt and Scott ranked their Top 10 High School Movies. After the episode, I tweeted and asked when they were going to do their Top 10 College Movies?

Next week wasn’t the answer, so I have decided to write this post in the hopes of giving them a third list to compare with their own lists, when they get to their college movies list.

Introducing Lord Harry of Palm, that’s me! Or at least that’s me when I appeared on the Inglorious Gentlemen Podcast.

It’s “an eye opening podcast of gentleman discussing topics that always turns south into the dark side of men.” But the purposed of this post is to explain how I became Lord Harry of Palm and to divulge the wonderful time I had with the Gents of Inglorious Gentlemen.

The line between a film being a classic and a cult classic will sometimes blur as a film ages, but in respect to Animal House as the classic and arguably one of the best college movies ever created, PCU is a cult classic Animal House of the 90’s, brought about by the political and social climates of the time.

Even more amazing is that PCU is just as relevant in today’s political and social climates as it was when it was released back in 1994. When you think of all the things that have changed for colleges and universities, as well as America on the whole, it’s amazing how the more things change, the more they stay the same.
