It took Marc Maron and his producer Brendan McDonald 3,478 days to amass 1,000 episodes of one of the most revered interview podcasts. That’s more than the twice a week release schedule that is now the norm for WTF with Marc Maron. Broken down that’s nine years, six months, and ten days, and more importantly, that’s 1,000 episodes of one of the mediums original pillars.

It’s easy to get caught up in the math.

Destination Wedding is an interesting and superbly written film. Written and directed by Victor Levin, this film is more than the sum of its main title Destination Wedding, but it’s “unofficial title” says a lot more about where it’s at, “Destination Wedding or A Narcissist Can’t Die Because Then the Entire World Would End.”

It stars Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves who are both fantastic, but it’s the script that speaks to me in the most incredible way.

Starring Michael Caine, Noël Coward, and Benny Hill; The Italian Job from 1969 is a comic caper with heart, exuberance, and is a quintessentially British film of its time and for its time, but the stars that truly steal the film away from it’s humanity are the MINI Coopers.

Here’s the breakdown, Charlie Croker (Caine), is getting released from prison. And his friend Roger has a genius plan for a heist, that he’s been working on.

During the fourth episode of the newly rebooted Mystery Science Theater 3000; “Avalanche;” Jonah Heston, Crow T. Robot, and Tom Servo take a moment out to address a very important issue; “deliberately stupid junk disguised as sincere, heartfelt junk.”

I, for one, applaud them for their efforts. B-movies can, and should be, fun and enjoyable for what they are, but there is a limit. First, what is a B-movie?

Bull Durham is one of my favorite sports movies. The dialog is almost as punchy as some of the characters, and it really does grasp the spirit of minor league baseball.
