Agent Margaret “Peggy” Carter is getting her own mini-series. So, why should we care?

Well, if you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe – and regardless of whether you’re a fan of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. or not – she’s an integral part of the history of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Without Agent Carter, their could very well be no S.H.I.E.L.D., so try to have a little respect. Besides, she keeps really good company.

One of my favorite shows is “The West Wing,” and as much as I may be a super-fan, designer John White has taken it one step further.

With SeventeenPeople.com, White has created a wonderful “live infographic” about one of the best and most classic “non-Dire-Straits-featuring episodes” of “The West Wing” – an hour of television known as “17 People.”

The episode itself, at its core, is about Toby learning the President has M.S. While everything else may be going on around them, this is the central point which, when it aired, had a great impact on what followed.

Following the cancellation of Marc’s show on the now defunct Air America radio network, Marc started his WTF Podcast by trespassing in the Air America studios to record the first few episodes, before moving himself to Los Angeles and his podcast into his now infamous garage.

Sterling Malory Archer has written a book about how to be him. That’s right, Archer, code named “Duchess”, the narcissistic, misogynistic, suave, hyper-sexed, alcoholic, spy of all spies has written a book about not just being a spy, but about being the best spy – himself.

From the beginning Archer sets up the tone of this humorously entertaining educational how-to book.

“A how-to book?! A book can’t teach someone how to be equal parts deadly and sexy! That’s like asking a cobra to write a book about how to be a cobra!”

The question started to fester after spotting a Tumblr post entitled “Source Code in TV and Films.” It’s a brilliant concept of taking an in-depth look into the code on computer screens in television shows and movies and finding out what it really is.

The lines of code in SwordFish are from a DES cracking program, Nedry’s screen from Jurassic Park appears to be source code for a SGI UNIX machine, the boot up sequence for the Mark I version of the Iron Man suit in Iron Man written to boot up the suit for Tony Stark’s escape is some butchered C code, but does it have to be? Does it have to hold up?
