My guest appearance on the Gotham Lights Podcast wasn’t about me. It wasn’t about the hosts, Henno or Stef, either… It wasn’t even about the television show Gotham, a show on it’s mid-season break which the podcast is based upon.

Sure many things were covered, but for me, for my part, and from my perspective it was about one podcaster dusting off the old microphone and talking on record again, for the first time in over a month!

I’ve never been an Apple person, so you can’t call me a MacHead. That doesn’t mean I don’t have respect for Steve Jobs, which is why I picked up his biography by Walter Isaacson. Jobs was an innovative thinker and one of the creative minds that has led technology to where it is now.

Jobs is arguably, along with Steve Wozniak, one of the paramount forefathers of personal computing, as well as the modern mobile age. I, like many others, was interested in how this all came to be – how he was able to see the future before it was here.

Why Die Hard is a Great Christmas Movie and Action Thriller

“Twelve terrorists. One Cop. The odds are against John McClane… That’s just the way he likes it.”

That’s the tagline for Die Hard, released on July 20, 1988.

Many may think it odd that an action movie would be classified as a Christmas movie. A trend apparent when seeing Die Hard appear on top Christmas movie lists. But it takes place on Christmas Eve, has a seasonal soundtrack, and even appears to have a Grinch parable.
