I’m a fan of Gun ‘N Roses. I love the old stuff, I love the solo stuff and I like and love some of the new stuff. So the other day when I was listening to Duff McKagan’s Loaded album Episode 1999: Live,

I noticed something peculiar, albeit completely understandable considering the facts.

Preston Tucker, I hardly knew ye. No really, I had no idea who you were. Then, I saw you’re car at America On Wheels. I heard there was a movie about you and that I watched, because you went up against the big guys. You challenged the conventional thinking, you’ve been called “ahead of your time” and “a generation too late.”

That’s pretty iconic and yet the legacy isn’t well known.

“Welcome to the Jungle, baby… You’re gonna diiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.” Yes, it’s Week 14 in the NFL and although there was a game on Thursday, I don’t count that too much, personally because I don’t have any Browns or Steelers on my team, but if you do I hope you had your line-up all set, otherwise, I hope you didn’t and that you’re matched up with me.

I know that there are a lot of people who didn’t make the playoffs.

On a scheduled day off, I took my mother to see the new Muppets movie, written by Jason Segel. First let me say that I will not be giving any spoilers away here so no need to fret. Second let me say that the amount of guests in the movie is wonderful.

It’s good to see that celebs like Jack Black, Dave Grohl, Jim Parsons, Sarah Silverman and many more, were in the movie. It gives me hope that The Muppets could be back to stay. Why did they leave? That’s really more about ownership and finances than it is about relevance.

Yes, you’re thinking that for the past few months you’ve been hearing about wealthy vs. wealthy in an argument over millions and that is partly true. But the NBA, like the other big sports, MLB, NFL, NHL and even NASCAR, are all good when they’re going.

So why is it good to have the NBA back?
