The final episode of House was preceded by a very beautiful retrospective. The final episode of House was the culmination of eight seasons. I won’t get the chance to miss Dr. House, he’s in syndication and in that respect, the character and the show will continue to live on.

In my first review of Marvel’s the Avengers, I ended with a diatribe about my geekdom getting watered down in the process of making it consumable for the masses. I recently saw the movie a second time and again I thoroughly enjoyed it. There is one thing that I need to discuss, or point out, as an addendum to my first review.

One thing to consider, about my first post, is that everything I said was criticism and it was not meant as a condemnation.

I don’t claim to know all there is about investing and investors and companies going public. I do, however, know a lot about business and supply and demand. And as for all of this hullabaloo around Marck Zuckerberg and his hoodie, I completely understand… But as for the news outlets that are just reporting the surface facts, they are completely missing the point.

On my kindle, I’ve just started reading Jedi Manual Basic – Introduction to Jedi Knighthood. After the first chapter you are given a writing assignment.

Below are the instructions given in the book. Under that I’m sharing my essay with you.

Maybe you’ll agree and maybe you won’t, but these are my thoughts on the reading and the research that I’ve done. At any rate, I hope you enjoy it.

I’m sure that most of the world wasn’t waiting for this movie since they were little kids. I’m sure even less of you were waiting for this after Ironman. The proof is that most of the world didn’t wait for Nick Fury to make his big screen debut after the credits of that film, but I did. And I was waiting for this since I was a little kid. And today was the day… Would it live up to the critical acclaim, I’ve been hearing about? Would it live up to my lofty expectations?

The simplest answer is yes and no.
